Thank you for visiting my CCALS Curling for Compassion fundraising site. I am honored to be participating in this event to raise funds for Compassionate Care ALS. CCALS played a prominent role in allowing Theo, my stepdad, to continue to live his life in comfort and with dignity during his 6 year courageous battle with ALS. Curling was also a beloved pastime for him; he began wheelchair curling at CC Curling Club and later played and traveled with members of the US Olympic Curling Team. I know he would have taken great pride (and a whole lot of laughter) watching us play. Please consider making a donation of any size to allow CCALS to continue to provide direct services and durable goods to ALS patients, their families, and their caregivers.
